Today's walk was Challenging!
The first rain for almost 4 weeks, since the morning of Day 4 coming out of Pamplona.
Very low clouds:
A steep 700 metres climb in the first 8 kilometres.
(And all the way back down in the last 9)
It wasn't a Stroll in the Park today, as our Fitbit stats confirm:
In fact we had to "rescue" a Dutch lady who was exhausted up in the mountains.
A big Thank You to Mike - on his last day on the Camino- who carried her rucksack for over 15 kilometres.
Along the way we moved into Galicia:
And from about 13.00 hours we had some stunning views:
We were all tested today; & came through it!
The day ended with dinner to celebrate Lisa from Seattle's Birthday:
