An early start on what was a challenging walk:

Soon crossed the River Sieve & left Pontassieve.

A 5 kilometre climb to gain 500 metres to reach Diacceto for a coffee stop.

Stunning views:

Then another climb of 500 metres, through forest paths to reach Consuma.


Time for a well-deserved Birra Grande !
