By 09.30 we were leaving Praia de Anjou beach:
Along the way there were the usual stunning beaches:
Dramatic lighthouses:
Sensational views of an amazing coastline:
Time - of course - for Elevenses:
But in the end today will be remembered for crossing the Duna de Monte Branco.
As to exactly what happened, as the late Queen once wrote:

Suffice to say only one Pilgrim chose the route of El salto de la muerte - The leap of death ☠
Obituaries were being written & Eulogies prepared ...
But the Ol' Pilgrim survived to Tell the Tale:
