Looking out across the Homildon Battlefield.

1402: England v Scotland

I won't tell you the result... 😉

But not a day to celebrate if you support 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

---

Leaving St Boswells we were soon walking along the Tweed.

Elevenses for some:

Wild Water swimming for others!

Plenty of bridges & other architectural features.

Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty

If your cup is full, may it be again

Let it be known there is a fountain

That was not made by the hands of men

Ripple by Robert Hunter (Grateful Dead)

On through Maxton where there has been a church for a thousand years.

Then it was along Dere Street, a Roman Road which linked York with Edinburgh.

Another Top Day in the Borders!
