A 350 miles drive from Bickley to Wooler, about 50 miles north of Newcastle.
We stopped at Belton House, near Grantham.
A wonderful 17th century house set in 1,300 acres of rolling countryside.
Did I mention the Cricket Ground ...

North of Newcastle the countryside is stunning. A foretaste of what is in stall for us on the Way
We were soon passing through Wooler & a mile further on to Homildon where we are based.
Good to meet up with the first of the Pilgrims.
