Pilgrims: Roger + Me

A very enjoyable evening yesterday in the picturesque old town of Cità di Castello:

Overnight at the well-located & friendly Hotel Umbria. 

At breakfast I went for the Fruit sausage roll:

Roger & I were on the road by 08.30.

We're still trying to understand how the 2 faces of the Clock in the main piazza tell you the time:

Anyone know? 

There was a soft drinks break at Bar Sasso. 

The usual wonderful views:

And the crops & fruit too:

We stopped near Candeggio for an Apple & a Snickers - OK I had the Snickers! 

Then it was on to the 4th century church at Pieve de Saddi:

We each had a donativo banana & beer. 

And there was a treasured stamp on my Credenziale:

A couple of climbs & we were soon looking down at Pietralunga:

And by 16.20 we were there; more than ready for a couple of well- deserved Grande Birri ! 

The joint longest walk of The Way was completed.
