After a Tough Day yesterday, today was a Gentle Stroll along the Nera River valley.
After a very enjoyable stay at the 3 Archi Hotel - excellent restaurant - it was a relaxed start to the day.

The valley is steep:
We soon arrived at Ferrentillo:
And its sister town on our side of the river Precetto:
The valley thereafter is much wider, with rich fertile soil:
As for Harvest... All is safely gathered in:
The grapes are being pressed:
And Autumn tidying up well in hand:
We were soon at Journey's End, Arrone:
I had planned my next Lavanderia trip for my Rest Day in Piediluco in two days time.
But when you are a Warrior of Sun Tzu, then you are always on alert:
But circumstances were about to change!
La Loggia Sul Nera has a washing machine.
