Rest Day No. 3: I bring you tidings of great joy

My 3rd & final Rest Day was spent in Piediluco on the shores of the eponymous Lago.

It was a misty start to the day:

The Hotel Miralago is in seasonal torpor.
No dinner & no breakfast either.

But right by the hotel is the Café Turismo:

The Best coffee ☕ in Italy 🇮🇹?
Could well be 😊

The lake has tremendous vistas:

What was it that Lou Reed sang ?

Out on The Way it's all too easy to feel detached from the Real World...

Brexit, Trump, Globalisation, the 21st century...

So how  are they all going??!!
Don't tell me; Prego.

But the Internet is alive & well in Piediluco.

A Facebook Message came through that a good friend is pregnant with her first child, due next April.
