Overnight at Hotel Belvedere.

Such a friendly hotel !

First Cannoli of the trip.

Around 1,200 years ago, Cannoli was made by Concubines to capture the attention of Princes.
It works 😉

And great to say Ciao to other Pilgrims from France, Netherlands & Italy.

The Italian Lads ... Striding to the Top !
Go Italia 🇮🇹

An early start ...

Wonderful panoramic views:

Elevenses at Madonna del Rosario Sanctuary:

As we passed the Campi Solari

I thought of what St John wrote:

Lunch at Rocca Argenteria:

As St Matthew said:

The Devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world
Matthew4:8

I don't normally comment on Pilgrimage Weather.
What did Oscar Wilde say ...

But in answer to a Question from a fellow Pilgrim's son back in UK,  today was sunny, with temperatures in the mid 20s.

My 60 Year Forecast is that the Weather will be just like this in Southern England in the 2080s !!

Of course, as we walked towards Corleone,
the discussion was of Family.

How very, very lucky have I been with mine.

From the love of Mum & Dad all the days of my Life, now into its 8th decade.
& the love of Lady Dianne & of Nicole.

And now of a cherished Grandson.

2,000 kilometres to the west of Sicily, out on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, Joseph (aka Young JJ) is on his very first Pilgrimage.

May Joseph have a long life, full of love ❤️

As for Family, I'm with Michael J Fox:

---

Che il tuo Dio cammini con te!

Pilgrim Ricardo

PS

Tomorrow we hope to be joined by Mr Chuck Berry.

What did Chuck sing ...

You never can tell.
