Pilgrims: Barry, Kate + Nigel, Roger & Me

After two overnights at Rezidentia di Via Picardi, it was a relaxed start to the day.

A welcome on their first day of walking on The Way to Kate & Nigel and to Barry.

We had time to look at the Teatro Romana:

Then we were off for a photo with St Francis & the Wolf:

A coffee stop at Ponte D'Assi.

And then Italy's largest Harry Potter shop!

Ponte D'Assi is barely a village.

Why is the shop located there?

Amongst the 5 walkers were 3 Economists, all tutored by Nobel Prize winner Sir Angus Deaton.

But no idea as the location rationale.

Anyone know?

We pressed on to the first climb of the day to Monte Salce.
Great views back to Gubbio:

We crossed creeks:

Saw harvested crops drying in the warm October sun:

More stunning views & creek crossings ::

Two final stiff climbs before journey's end at Biscina.

And a great view from our accommodation Tenuta di Biscina :

A really good day's walk!!
