Pilgrims: Just Me

Only 3 of the other 27 walking days have longer distances than today's 25 kilometres.

So waking up to the sound of thunder & heavy rain wasn't what I'd have chosen.

The 07.00 hours weather forecast from the UK Meteorological Office was grim reading:

But I do like to get a second opinion...

So I WhatsApp'd Postman Pat.

As so often, the Postman called it Big; and Right:

It'll be a Blustery Day in Tuscany, Young Ricardo !!

And so it was - no rain at all.

There were some great views :

Looking North from near the Poggio Rosso fork

And some nice houses too:

Villa Casanova

A drinks break by the artificial Lago di Monteglio, which provides water for irrigation & hydro-electric power.

By the time I reached Sansepolcro the sun was out in time for a wander round the medieval centre:

Tomorrow it is Goodbye Tuscany & Hello Umbria!
